3D-Printing Benchmark:
Compare 3D-Printing Methods with a Printer-Benchmark
We designed the benchmark to compare all the 3D printing methods out there. It can describe the strengths and weaknesses of each one and gives you a foundation for your decisions.
The benchmark also shows why rules like minimum wall thickness and minimum clearances exist. For example if in the benchmark the plates get too small, the edges will not look as sharp anymore. If the clearance between them gets too narrow, it will be filled up or it can happen that the very small plates can break away completely. To avoid these effects you should design within the minimum values.

Analyze Printing Methods and Materials

Roundings/Shininess
With roundings you can easily detect whether a material has a certain shininess.

Wall Thickness
The printer's resolution in combination with the stability of the material is responsible on how thin a certain structure can be printed.

Layers
Different printing methods differ in layer thickness. Thus you can see these layers or terraces more or less depending on the method you chose.
